GENETICS, POPULATIONS, EVOLUTION AND ECOSYSTEMS
Topic 7 is all focussed on populations and communities of organisms. How organisms interact in their natural environments, how species change spatially and temporally, and the techniques scientists use to study them. Things get really interesting when some new concepts get introduced on inheritance and evolution. There's also some tricky, but commonly examined, maths: the Hardy-Weinberg equation allows you to calculate the alleles present in a population when given only limited information.
Use the worksheets alongside your textbook and revision guide. The presentations are more for teacher use but students may also find something useful in them.
